Terms of Service

Last updated:

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of eventpipe (the “Service”) operated by the eventpipe team (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, using the website or API, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity and that the entity accepts these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at the contact below if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Description of the Service

eventpipe provides tools to capture, inspect, and process HTTP webhooks and related developer workflows, including hosted endpoints, request history, collaboration features, and optional automation (“pipes”) as described on our website and documentation.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. Without limitation, you must not:

  • Use the Service to transmit malware, conduct attacks, send spam, or harass others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or underlying systems.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as permitted by law or with our written consent.
  • Process personal data through the Service in violation of privacy laws or without appropriate rights and notices.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service in a way that misrepresents our brand or circumvents technical limits.

4. Your content and data

You retain ownership of data you submit to the Service (“Customer Data”), including webhook payloads, headers, and code you author in Pipe Studio. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Customer Data and that doing so does not violate third-party rights. We may remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms or law.

5. Plans, billing, and taxes

Paid plans are billed according to the prices and intervals shown at checkout or in your account. Fees are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy or required by law.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel before the next renewal date through your billing provider or account settings. Taxes may apply based on your location.

We may change prices with advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of new prices unless you cancel.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, branding, documentation, and UI, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.

7. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third-party products (for example payment processors or OAuth providers). Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services you choose to connect.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS.

WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, and employees against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

11. Term and suspension

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk to the Service or others, or non-payment. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for disputes arising from these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.
